lets talk about food.
[in less than a WEEK, we will be off on our 500 mile bike ride across iowa!]
this is a super easy & filling go-to lunch // supper for blake & i.
its easy to make, healthy & is super cost efficient.
today : naan pizzas!
1 naan = 1 pizza
what you need :
*2 whole wheat tandoori naan [make your own here or purchase from trader joe's [which DOES contain a tiny bit of egg]
*small handful of [organic] basil
*1/4c organic pizza sauce [we use garlic red sauce]
*10 baby // grape tomatoes [buy organic!!] ; cut in half
*1 glove of garlic ; chopped super thin
*5-10 olives ; cut in half
*garlic salt, oregano & pepper ; to taste
how to do it :
1) preheat oven to 350*
2) prepare your naan ; add all toppings & sauce
3) bake in oven for 10-15 minutes.
these are super easy & taste great.
add a side of fruit & veggies [plus, a little dessert] & you have a great, protein-packed meal!
