energy balls.
if you read the blog this weekend, you saw that blake and i took a 50 mile bike ride around the city yesterday.

what do you need for a 50 mile bike ride?
energy!!
i found this great recipe and modified it to our tastes.
our energy bites consisted of : oats, peanut butter, raisins, craisins, coconut, lots of chocolate chips, brown rice syrup and vanilla.
[honestly : if you need a protein packed breakfast or workout recovery snack ; i totally suggest these. they are so, so good]
and with all this talk of our ride ; wanna see some photos?

we had such a great time ; lots of fun.
there were thousands of people on the ride ; all ages. children. couples. speedsters.
and everybody had a helmet!!
