currently : 1,000 burpees, peanut butter tofu pie & other things i care about!

february, you guys!
one of my 2014 goals is to get this blog back up!
i am a fitfluential ambassador & just found out last week that i am now in the #sweatpink club, too!
thats great for me.
since working from home {and this crazy-cold winter}, i havent been as active as i usually am.
using this blog & those great communities are incredibly motivating to me.

here is a quick {and kinda small} list of things i am loving // working on this month : 

currently watching :
parks & rec!
apparently i am about 5 years behind, but this show is ridiculous. im watching it on netflix & am halfway through season 2. the deadpan humor is hilarious!

currently making :
a tofu peanut butter ice box pie! its in the freezer now ; hoping its ready by supper time! i am working with nasoya to use tofu in a couple recipes {full recipe posts coming soon!}

latest good deed :
on my other blog today, i shared a great [and easy!] recipe & talked about giving grocery store gift cards to strangers. here

fitness goal i am working toward this month :
fitfluential & under armour are teaming up for the #ffburpee challenge. between now & feb 28, the goal is to complete 1,000 burpees. you can share your progress on twitter using the hashtag. at the end of the month, two folks will win a head-to-toe outfit from UA
{i am doing 34 burpees a day & have about 900 left!}

and my own personal fitness challenge for the month : 
keep hitting the pool!
my triathlon is at the end of july, but i have little {very, very little} pool skills, so i will be heading to the high school for open swim 3x a week for at least 25 min. i bought swim goggles this weekend, so i will try those out tonight!
{hot yoga is also making its way back on my schedule this month!}

i think this book was a 'little free library find' and i am almost finished with it. its good ; but pretty intense. there is a lot of emotion throughout.
