happy monday, everybody!
i hope you had a great weekend.
its 50* here in minneapolis [thats super warm for us in december!], but its raining..
lets get in the kitchen.
last month, i bought 20 pounds of bread flour knowing that i wanted to start making my own bread.
this weekend, i finally had a day off, so i made my very first batch of naan bread.
know what naan is?
its an indian flatbread. its a bit spongy & dough-y.
great for currys, lentil dishes, as mini pizzas or perfect by itself toasted with some butter.
the recipe calls for a pizza stone, but we dont have one, so i used a griddle pan that my grandparents got as a [63 year old] wedding present!
because the directions are long [but NOT complicated!] ; i am going to send you to the original recipe that i used.
and once you have your bread, come back & make these awesome naan flatbread pizzas!
happy baking!
also, while you are here ; i posted FOUR *brand new* winter wear pieces in the shop yesterday!
